Reconstructive Surgery

Dr. Ray performs a wide variety of reconstructive procedures, from skin and muscle tissue flaps to fat grafting and breast reconstruction.

Skin cancer removal can sometimes be performed in the office, though more extensive operations may require general anesthesia.  As a plastic surgeon, Dr. Ray is experienced in soft tissue reconstruction after Mohs micrographic surgery or trauma.

Dr. Ray has helped patients with burn injuries and severe scars achieve greater function and improved cosmetic results.  He also offers survivors of breast cancer a variety of options for breast reconstruction, from implants to muscle and skin tissue transfer.

As a hand surgeon, Dr. Ray treats many common hand and wrist maladies, such as carpal tunnel syndrome, trigger finger, tendon injury, De Quervain's tenosynovitis, cubital tunnel syndrome and soft tissue trauma.

Large birthmark and tattoo removal can be achieved using one of several techniques including staged excision, laser therapy and skin grafting.
